ABOUT DAVID WESSELY

I am an industrial chemist, but I have always had a keen enthusiasm for wildlife photography. Over the last ten years I have had the opportunity of visiting Africa several times a year, and I have used every minute of my spare time to photograph mainly birds, but more recently all forms of wildlife.

What makes Africa so special is the wonderful light, especially at dawn and at sunset, and the amazing array of wildlife endemic in South Africa and Namibia, where I now concentrate my efforts.
